Ernestina Eduful has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2009. Educated at the University of Ghana. Ernestina has worked extensively in clinical nutrition, nutrition in media, consulting, and research. She has also served as a clinical supervisor and preceptor for dietetic students at a tertiary medical facility she has worked with for many years. Her approach to diet and nutrition is evidence-based, permissive, and relaxed. She believes in healthy eating and lifestyle modification as a means of preventing non-communicable diseases. The idea of NutriDi/ Nutridwellness.com was birth from her desire to champion healthy living with nutrition at the core to prevent non-communicable diseases. Our Lead is an experienced dietician who has worked in a teaching hospital for over 10 years. She has worked within various departments of the hospital, including Surgery, ICU, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Cardiothoracic, and Department of medicine. She also has several years of experience as a community dietitian in an outpatient setting. She has an MPhil in Dietetics and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Food Science.
She enjoys writing and has written several articles in company journals and online. She is a blogger with her own website. She actively participates in radio and TV Nutrition and Lifestyle promotion education. She does part-time lecturing and clinical supervision for various Universities. She is licensed by the Allied Health Professions Council, Registered with the Ghana Dietetics Association, an Academy Member of the International Nephrology Society, and was a member British Dietetics Association.
She is particularly interested in research, nutrition advocacy, malnutrition prevention, corporate wellness campaigns. Educating corporate institutions, societies, churches, Market Places, and youth groups. This is because of the desire to champion disease prevention and treatment due to the increase in non-communicable diseases.
NutriDi Wellness was born out of the concern of seeing people in their productive years wasting their potential on disease and illness. The core aim of NutriDi Wellness is to promote wellbeing through healthy eating and lifestyle. Also to help people with lifestyle-related health conditions lead productive lives.
